    I have an elderly relative who is not on the internet, she does have a landline, lives in a Norfolk village that has a poor mobile signal. Enquiring to get her on the internet seems providers are not offering phone lines now, will those that are supplying landlines now become VoIP suppliers...

    Saved to 'Watch Later' as I do find this fascinating. Electricity travels at 186,000 miles per second, same as light (To the best of my knowledge), does resistance affect the speed or merely a power drop at the end of the circuit? Geffers

    Actually, nostalgically I liked the original series but the acting in some of the early episodes was a wee bit amateurish, didn't follow any of the subsequent series except Enterprise which was a modern take on what came before Kirk and Spock. Actually thought that was excellent. Geffers

    Instead of complicating it with an extra day every 4 years they could have just had 60.04 seconds in a minute 😎 Guess that is a leap second every 25 minutes. Mind you, having a leap year lets us know when the Olympics are. Geffers
