Driving On The Steepest Street In The World

Didn't need fixing as all worked fine. Ended up doing 130,000+ miles in that car, mainly learners driving too.

    Will we get an A380neo?

Whilst it was a decision made on monetary grounds crew complied with all required procedures so no issues surrounding the cockpit actions, obviously questions were asked as explained in the video. During Air Worthiness Certification the 747 is tested flying on just one engine so the yaw force...

Driving On The Steepest Street In The World

Where on Earth was that @Retro ? That sounds interesting. Transmissions are very sturdy items despite my previous comment. When I was instructing learners many years back one student accidentally selected reverse without pressing the clutch. Big lurch, bang and stall. Anyway, car survived...

Customers urged to report self-checkout thieves

My opinion, the $1.00 discount is more of a headline grabber than $0.20. Bit like lottery prizes, the potential big wins attract the investments.

    Will we get an A380neo?

It's not only running costs, it is maintenance too. Plus age of aircraft design is misleading as newer versions obviously get the new technology. The 747 has been flying longer than Airbus has existed. Appreciate of course that Airbus is an amalgamation of numerous older and established...

UK IP addresses banned by US social media company

Many were not giving misinformation, they were querying why pregnant women, babies and healthy young people needed a vaccine to protect against something that was dangerous only to people with underlying health issues. As for misinformation, how absurd it was to dine out, sitting no mask, but...

Customers urged to report self-checkout thieves

100% agree with @Retro - I have corrected staff when inadvertently undercharged for item(s) before, this is less likely now with barcode scanning. On the opposite side of the coin I have found quite often the auto scan does not apply a discount and have to subsequently query. This can be quite...

UK IP addresses banned by US social media company

Sites like these mainly evolved during the covid era when the likes of twitter, youtube, Linkedin and facebook started banning doctors, scientists, chemists and epidemiologists who advocated caution over the vaccine. Unfortunately when opinions differ there will always be some who think there...

UK IP addresses banned by US social media company

The only way I can see one can do it is if the user effectively has a computer under their control in US. Then VNC (not VPN) could be used or alternatively ssh using a socks5 proxy, Maybe a cloud based system if based in US would work.
