The UK finally knows what a woman is. Yes, really

Medical advancement is a wonderful thing, it gives hope to many with health problems but the trans issue is not one I'd support. If a guy wants to dress as a woman then so be it but cannot force his desires on others at the expense of women in sports or female only spaces. Can't say too much...

Karen tortures herself by doing the same jigsaw over and over and over...

By fortuitous happenstance I came across this video on the day @Retro commented about my mention of using this phrase. As to the video, one has to ask why someone would create a white jigsaw puzzle, and more to the point, who would someone then wonder how quickly it could be completed?

How many sites is Britain's OSA going to kill?

Once Government get control they will seldom give any up. Russia took 70 years for Communism to be overthrown.

    The Trump thread

That is similar to what they said about him winning in 2016 and 2024, that aside I don't think he would run again.

    AI is becoming very realistic

We have become used to voice recognition associated with technology, eg Alexa, Hey Google and Siri as well as others but I must admit to being amazed by AI and the responses. Privacy virtually impossible nowadays

Singlepence - that is a nice word, like that one. There are words and phrases that stick in one's mind, one I love is 'By fortuitous happenstance' often mean to use that in a post.

The encrypted criminal chat network that was EncroChat

Encryption goes way above most peoples' head. You can sometimes dump an encrypted file and see a lot of gobbledegook but can that be decrypted? The program compilers will say no but who has any idea. Data is always safe until it isn't. With our reliance on digital data nowadays a potential...

100% agree. Will technology drown in algorithms I wonder

Mobile banking is risky: fraudsters are taking over handsets and raiding accounts

Must admit I don't do finances on a mobile, screen too damned small. Prefer a computer where I can view the padlock details easily and the certificate.

Karen tortures herself by doing the same jigsaw over and over and over...

They ought to have a puzzle with a bit missing to make it realistic.

Took me 5:55 - what are the chances of that number coming up. Took me a wee bit of time sorting the puzzle size with screen size but hey, who minds wasting an odd 355 seconds.
