It's a well known recommendation that to maximise battery life, it should be charged more slowly and kept between 30-80% charge at all times, but how much difference does it really make? This short video does a deep dive into this question and similar ones so is well worth watching.

You'll also be surprised just how many years it took to make this video due to several attempts and the length of testing required each time. Credit to HTX Studio for persevering with it, I'd have burned out long ago.

wow, this guy sure has some patience, his is a labour of love for sure.

I liked his little story, towards the end of the video, were he talks about his first phone, and how he looked after it, not letting it drop below 20%, fully charge it to 100%....because he thought it was "good for the battery"😌. Resonated with me....But now I know better: no need to agonise over the life of our batteries; roughly keep between 30% and 80%, and we are good to go.

And also, talking about his first phone, he makes the observation that, although that kind of "care" didn't matter much technically, it still mattered emotionally. He is right, thinking we were taking care of our little phone, made us feel good.🙂
