Is Colour Night Vision Possible?

We're all use to the lurid green monochrome video output of night vision goggles. However, the dark scene out there is actually in full colour just like in a brightly lit scene - we just can't normally perceive it and nor can video equipment designed to see in it. However, this Action Lab video shows off a new camera that can and explains the fascinating way that it's done.
