Recent Firefox versions have a privacy-busting setting switched on, all for the benefit of advertisers, not you. This short video explains what it is and how to easily switch it off - it's just a tickbox. Note that Google Chrome has all this tracking and more, so Firefox is still better from a privacy perspective.
