I never expected to see an odd headline like this. I think he's still alive, or the war would likely end.

Saw this news this morning.....the propaganda change of Russia's War has transitioned from freeing their western neighbors from Nazism to now fighting Ukaine caused by NATO, US and the UK.

Concern if this news is true that Russia is mobilizing inward from three directions to Ukraine.

It does sound like a third front is possible to open up, but I actually can't see it going very well for Russia. Ukraine can clearly see via intel that they are building up in the North and the offensive went poorly when Ukraine was not ready. I feel like this is a desperate move from Russia to try and win major ground before NATO starts supplying heavier weapons and getting a more advanced anti-air setup. Although we have no idea how or what Russia will do, history does not favor brand new recruits flooding into a war from a massively expected and preplanned direction.

Ukraine might be holding their own, but what's really needed is to give them what they've been asking for for ages: rockets that can reach deep inside Russia where the Russian rockets are being launched and stop them at source, which will help stop this atrocious war. If not, then Russia will just keep sending more, endlessly.

Also, if Putin really is dead and yet the war continues, then this is an even worse situation.

We can thank Putin's poxy war for this one.

Very pessimistic. Schultz' order for tanks to go to Ukraine has succeeded, and it seems as though he was coaxing the Americans to also send their better tanks (Abrams) over too.

I completely agree with you on Ukraine needing to strike into Russia to end the war, but the question remains on how Putin would handle a conventional attack inside of Russia.

Yes, I think this is why the West hasn't enabled Ukraine to strike back in this way as it might literally spark WW3, complete with nukes striking the UK, US and other countries, obliterating a lot of areas and causing worldwide death and hardship. As usual, if this cancer had simply been dealt with at the beginning, then we wouldn't have such a massive problem now.

The issue is, going at the problem by halves also doesn't fix it, as Russia will just keep regenerating their fucking war machine. Perhaps they'll just run out of civilians to conscript into their army and it will stop that way? Who knows.

I don't think people really get how serious war is. *NZ'ers excluded; extremely talented and smart people here; you all get it.

This video is terrifying......

Not sure Putin has much restraint left.

I tend to agree. He's quite the megalomaniac who doesn't care about the consequences to him or anyone else.

As I've said for a long time now, with him it's a case of if he loses, then he's gonna make sure that everyone else does too, which can be achieved with nukes. He's threatened them enough times now, making this very point.

It's behind a paywall unfortunately. Hope those old weapons are up to the task.
