The BBC can't compete with YouTube, so why not just use underhand tactics to win?

I think they might already do it in the US for Fox, CNN, MSNBC, etc.

Why we spend more at self service touch screens

Less friction at the point of sale, sure, but I feel like that is a distraction from the real reason: replacing labor (the biggest expense for companies, even at minimum wage) with machines. Same logic behind self checkout. How much are the staff really judging you for extra fries? I think they...

    The rise of FAFO parenting

Remember that kids are small manipulators and if you give in just a little they think they can get away with anything so she showed him who’s the boss.

Eating cheese is good for dental health. No, really

I've already been clued in to this seemingly faux rivalry when watching a video from The Fat Electrician

The official NerdZoner's weather zone! How's your weather today?

That big winter storm completely missed me. Just got clouds and colder weather... 60 degrees instead of 75.

Eating cheese is good for dental health. No, really

Yes, a quarter, a common coin also used in laundromats. I think we can buy rolls of coins from a bank. The boxes are stacked on shelves. Not much seem to be on pallets, only sugar and flour. The Aldi by me opened maybe four years ago. Here a map https://www.aldi.us/stores/ Aldi here is run...

I'll need to see if my local Aldi carries aged gouda. I saw 1000 day aged gouda on their website but the local store might not have it because it's not very large.

The burning question: how long should the perfect cup of tea be brewed for?

Throw it in the microwave! Or is that anathema to the English sensibilities?

Why the price of RAM is shooting up like crazy

I really like that Twittter handle name. Those two simple words provide great meta commentary on the current sad state of affairs.

The burning question: how long should the perfect cup of tea be brewed for?

did you try to dilute the overly strong brews with more water?

The burning question: how long should the perfect cup of tea be brewed for?

each bag of Twinings says how long to steep it for. I've gotten a 44-count sampler box for Christmas and can now confidently say that I don't like any random flavor with ginger. That spice overpowers the other flavors. A little milk helps, but am now glad to have finally finished of the chai...

Why the price of RAM is shooting up like crazy

Renting a gaming PC is inefficient, says the real-life Lex Luthor (but who’s more evil, though?). There is one big problem with gaming in the cloud that is painfully obvious to any software engineer, ahem: latency. Network requests are slow. This bottleneck will not disappear with a faster...
