Check out this out Google Gemini AI scambaiting a refund scammer! It's just so satisfying to see the criminal get increasingly wound up as the call went nowhere. This is a great zero-effort way to waste a scammers' time.

This is the first time I've seen something like this, which is equally impressive and disconcerting to see just how far AI has come in the last couple of years.

Note that this is a brand new channel, online for only about a week, and this is their first video. There are three others like this to watch on there at the time of writing. Perhaps give GBaitz a like and subscribe?

I must say, this scammer was a bit slow. Soon after the start of the conversation you could guess that the lady enquiring about the charge to her account, was actually a robot: nice pleasant voice, unruffled, and always this telltale slight delay in replying to the scammer or following his instructions.
Nice one, to hear how this asshole got really mad when the penny had finally dropped and he realised that he was taken for a sucker.

Indeed, especially that delay and lack of emotional change was a subtle giveaway enough to drive anyone up the wall. I especially loved how the bot got the code consistently wrong and read the code in the exact same way each time. That's about as infuriating as it can get! :ROFLMAO:

Thanks for sharing that. So many scammers these days. We get scam calls all day long. The worst is medicare fraudsters. I need an AI for that lol.
