Smartphones have had the capability for surveillance since the first iPhone in 2007 so there's truth to the things he says in these videos. However, having watched several of them now, I wonder if he's deliberately trying to hype up paranoia about these capabilities because he sells his own custom ant-surveillance smartphones and gadgets that he advertises at the end of every video. The conflict of interest is very strong here, as you can see.

My advice is to watch these videos to learn about these snooping technologies, which are real, but to always keep this conflict of interest in mind and perhaps do a bit of Googling afterwards to try and verify what you've just seen.

Finally, it's unfortunately a fact of life, that we're all datamined and spied on regardless of what computer or application we use nowadays. It's impossible to avoid in modern life, so what can you do short of living in a cave somewhere away from everybody else? In fact, deliberately trying to hide your activities can end up looking more suspicious to the authorities and perhaps have them start watching you more closely as one always leaves a trail, no matter how obscured and indirect.

100% agree, being aware is the main thing and being sensibly cautious is the way to be.
