I've read that @Retro doesn't like Limp Bizkit very much, but you know something: I do! Which is exceptional because rock is usually not my thing. Perhaps it's just because my best friend introduced me to it in our late teens. He's of my generation. And so was Limp Bizkit's bassist Sam Rivers. He died aged 48.

I always describe my generation as Xennial (circa 1977 to 1983), as I am right on the cutoff point of Generation X and Millennial. Xennials are an interesting micro generation for many reasons, I might start a thread about that some day. Sam (1977) was also right there, and because of my fond memories with my best friend around Limp Bizkit (last concert we visited was in 2018), I think that the song My Generation is in place today.
(NSFW note: this is the uncensored version! I hate it when they bleep away words, especially in music, it always ruins it)

"His talent was effortless, his presence unforgettable, his heart enormous," the band wrote.
