Check out this great track from 2001. It's totally American teen pop rock and is really rather good.
While the video looks mostly modern, it's amazing how 22 years can so date something as there are no smartphones and Michelle takes pictures using a Polaroid Instamatic camera. I remember that time like it was yesterday. It's easy to fall for the illusion that how the state of technology looks today was how it always was, when it actually advances every year in so many ways.
Finally, I'd never heard of this artist before stumbling across her tonight in a Facebook video demonstrating a DAT audio recorder (remember them?!) although she was rather popular. And of course, I want that DAT recorder...
