Nagra SNN micro reel to reel recorder demo

I've always had a soft spot for real to real tape recorders and they're normally great big things, so check out this short demo of a really tiny one from 1973. Interestingly, it has some very non-standard controls for handling the tape, no piano keys, or single knob like some models, which makes these controls really quite awkward.

Amazingly, it works off just two AA batteries.

Technology was wonderful in those days, you could see it working, nowadays it is all solid state and few, if any, moving parts.
