Gamers Nexus reveals bait and switch scam tactics at NZXT for their rental computers. They charge huge money amounting to thousands, you never own the computer and the specs are changed all the time with zero notice for the same model name, affecting performance. Oh and they keep jacking up the prices too. In short, don't touch them with a bargepole.

The video is an hour long, so make your favourite beverage first then get comfy.

They sound no different than many rent to own places here in the states. I really don't see why exactly you would want to rent to own unless your credit is so messed up that you cannot get even a simple store credit card and pay that money back monthly on it.
I've seen too many people burned by the rent to own type store.

Yeah, are these totally not worth it on any level, even leaving out the scam element in this case since the monthly payment is extortionate. There's always a way to get hold of a cheap computer. If you can't afford a gaming rig, then this isn't the solution: you just need more money to afford one in the first place.
