I remember this news from 2008 and came across this article today.
What the hell possesses parents to foist awful, embarrassing names on their kids? To saddle them with a completely unnecessary and pointless social disability? It's just mental and this one is one of the most extreme I've ever seen: Talula Does the Hula From Hawaii.
How they were able to register it in the first place boggles my mind. This poor girl had to suffer it for 9 years before she was finally able to change it. Now, the article doesn't say what she changed it to, for her privacy, but I think Talula is a nice name. I imagine she hated that too though and hence is now called something else.
