Check out this catchy song from 1998 with the annoying guitar. On looking for different versions, I found that there are several and that they all sound the same, which, naturally, feature here. These videos are actually quite dark humoured, a bit dystopian, something I reckon @Hitcore will appreciate. ;) I certainly like it and you need to see them all to see why I posted them.

I quite like how the symbols continuously follow the tune and her voice really fits with the sound of this song. Yes, it used to be played such a lot on the radio that the annoying guitar really got on my nerves and I would sometimes switch it off when I couldn't stand it anymore. However, after having drunk sufficient koolaid and not having heard so much of it on the radio, like a good little fan, I eventually bought the CD single as I did actually rather like the song despite it. I now get to be driven mad on repeat play enjoy it in the best audio quality possible. ❤️

First up is the version for actually listening to on YouTube in Best-Fi:

Now we have the dark humoured, dystopian versions. I think this young lady is auditioning to be America's worst driver, total headcase in fact. Watch them and see what you think, plus find out why I posted four of them.

Yeah, I dig it. I've noticed something: only a year earlier, in 1997, The Verve had their hit song Bittersweet Symphony, where in the videoclip the dude famously would nonchalantly bodycheck pedestrians.
The Cardigans must have figured: hey, we can 1up that... with cars!

and you need to see them all to see why I posted them.

In 1998 an internationally acclaimed German film came out: Lola Rennt (English title: Run Lola Run). 1 story, 3 endings.
And just like in this clip: in two of those endings a main character dies, but not in the last ending.
Just saying that I find this all too coincidental. One of my favorite films btw.
