This guy kicked a suspect's head and then stamped on it, all the while he was on the floor and not resisting arrest. He was rightly suspended, so let's see what happens to him.

Believe me, I'm not soft on criminals, but no matter what the suspect has done (assault, apparently) a cop should never attack someone without justification like self defence or to protect life and especially when they're down and not resisting arrest. They're not judge and jury and should remain professional, especially when they're not being threatened, not allow the red mist to descend over them. He could have killed that suspect with this attack.

The article video is 14 seconds of violence.

A police officer has been suspended after a video circulated online of a man being kicked and stamped on the head at Manchester Airport.

An officer had been removed from all duties after a “thorough review of further information” of the incident, which took place on Tuesday, Greater Manchester Police confirmed.

The footage showed a uniformed male officer holding a Taser over the man who was lying on the ground at Terminal 2 before kicking him twice at about 20:30 BST.

And just to muddy the waters, this article reports that the suspects were attacking police officers before this happened. It still doesn't justify what happened though.

New footage has emerged showing the alleged assault of three police officers at Manchester Airport before a man was kicked in the head.

The video, obtained by the Manchester Evening News, shows the chaotic scenes which led to an officer kicking and stamping on the head of a man who was lying face down on the floor.
