A Morrisons customer got the shock of their life after a pack of cherry tomatoes scanned through at more than £900.

The shopper was left scratching their head when the self-scanning machine showed the price of the product alongside other items they were purchasing.

An image posted on Reddit's Casual UK forum showed the cherry tomatoes cost an eyewatering £900.06.

Morrisons has since apologised for the “mistake” and the shock it may have caused the customer.
