This music producer compares several different audio formats like cassette, reel to reel, vinyl records and streaming to a digital master to see how they each affect sound quality. What I found most interesting was Apple Lossless that actually proved not to be with some treble rolloff. I'd like to know what exactly they're doing to the data to cause this.

The song he used is his own one to avoid a copyright strike and it's not bad.

I'm guessing one has to listen on decent speakers otherwise everything reduced to quality of speakers used.

I am no sound conny sewer (never could spell that word) but couldn't really detect much difference between them.
