Imagine being on a dating app, knowing your potential partner’s profile bios, images and messages are plausibly AI-generated! That should leave you concerned, to say the least!

What’s more, the mistrust resulting from common AI use has led to false accusations made against users with legitimate photos of themselves, with suspicions arising from generative AI in images. A genuinely pretty person now apparently looks “too good to be true”.
Currently AI is commonly used to prioritise uploaded images in order of likelihood of matches, and to generate warning messages for messages calculated to have a high probability of being reported, based on patterns.
However, has AI gone too far?
