The presenter goes as far as calling the official guidance a "lie", which is likely just a bit of clickbait to get people to watch it. Like I did... Note that he uses proper sources to back up his assertions too, or I wouldn't have posted it here.
This is very interesting and he might well be right, but I don't recommend starting to consume large amounts of salt yourself, going against decades of science-based, established, nutritional advice. If you're really interested, I suggest doing your own research and see what that reveals. Me? I'm gonna keep eating "moderate" amounts of salt like I've been doing.
