A four layer power tower of pi sounds deceptively simple to calculate, (after all, it's only a bit more than a similar power tower of 3s, right?) until you actually look at how you would do it.

This cute little problem actually shows up the limits of mankind's mathematical understanding and also computing power and that's what makes this monster so interesting. Matt Parker explains it all with his trademark Ozzy humour - check out the canned studio audience!
