All in the name of trying to get it done in under 30 minutes! Karen Puzzles is a great channel all about jigsaw puzzles, so check out her other videos, too.

Myself, I like nice easy puzzles that I can enjoy at a leisurely pace. I like doing puzzles on the PC at the site below, set to 100 piece classic. I recently tried a 500 piece classic which took me hours and didn't enjoy much at all. At the end, I felt like I'd been put through hell rather than achieved anything. The site goes up to 1000 pieces - good luck. See what works for you.

I'm just not that patient of a person to work a puzzle like that, especially a multitude of times... lol!

I don't do jigsaw puzzles very often, but when I do, I take my time for them.
The last one I did was a 1000 piece puzzle.

And there's the thing, I didn't rush it, at all. I finished it over the course of two weeks. An hour here, 40 minutes there. Having a cup of hot chocolatemilk with it. That way it's a relaxing activity rather than a chore. 🤤

(Protip: do the puzzle in a room where your cats can't come, though. They want to help but it turns out that they are terrible at these things)

I'm not into digital puzzles. Only the real deal for me.

Then you also have something to show for it. 🙂

That's a really nice montage football puzzle you've got there.

Go on, try this one for giggles, set at the smallest 20 pieces! Should take 5 minutes, if that. It's of a circular runway concept and is one I created myself after reading about this fascinating (but barmy) concept with the picture taken from the article.

Cheers, it was a gift from an old Dutch friend of mine, to remind me of our football club, Sparta Rotterdam.

I will try your puzzle later, after work. It sucks donkey nuts on the phone. 😅

Alright, I did the puzzle on my trusty old Linux machine. I really like the image, it's definitively not that. But I find these online puzzle games a bit of a lukewarm experience. To me it's very similar to WordFeud. IRL I absolutely LOVE playing Scrabble. And while WordFeud is practically the same game as Scrabble, it just doesn't feel the same. Had it on my phone, but uninstalled it after like two dozen matches.
Again, Retro, I appreciate what you do here. And Karen, godspeed, good luck with torturing yourself. 😅 But I'll stick to proper physical board games and jigsaw puzzles. At my own pace. :)

Edit: oh goody, apparently this is my 100th post. 💯🥳

I thought you'd dig that image. ;)

For me, I enjoy both forms of jigsaw puzzles, but I just don't have the space for a real one, unfortunately.

Karen tortures herself again, this time attempting a 5000 piece puzzle in just two days! Did she make it?

Took me 5:55 - what are the chances of that number coming up. Took me a wee bit of time sorting the puzzle size with screen size but hey, who minds wasting an odd 355 seconds.

This isn't related to Karen, but it is to do with solving jigsaws.

This YouTuber, Stuff Made Here, very cleverly creates a robot to solve a 4000 piece all-white puzzle. It's a seriously difficult task, but it's still quicker than a human trying to do it on their own, which would take years. Fascinating, check it out.

That dude and Karen should totally start dating. I see potential in their relationship. Together they shall raise AI-augmented puzzle champions.
