well, at first sight it might look like the orange one is the mayhem rouser, but watching this clip again, it actually looks to me as if ginger was pushed thru that unit above the table, onto the table. He didn't jump of his own volition.
What gave it away is this: you can see his hindside and backlegs poking thru the opening first; totally unnatural, no self respecting cat would jump backwartd, he had therefore landed awkwardly, not cleanly on his front legs, as a cat would, had he jumped down deliberately.
When he actually hit the table he was bloody terrified and ran away.

Just another case of 'did he jump or was he pushed?'

I check these videos very carefully before posting them for anything that looks like it could be distress for the cat, especially if human engineered and I think this one is ok.

I agree it looks a bit odd how the ginger cat emerges, but it can look like that as I've seen plenty of other videos where they sleep or sit in funny positions and then slide or fall off something in a similar way and the cat is fully visible. Also, the cupboard is up against a wall, so how would someone push the cat from behind? A specially created set would have to be created and then the cat convinced to go in there and stay against its will, good luck with that. All that for a tiny clip like this. Just not gonna happen, the clip is genuine.

I felt sorry for that vet and the cats are adorably oblivious to the havok that they've just caused. ❤️
