I'm not normally into linguistics - but I have friends that are - and they shared this video with me. I thought it was interesting and amusing, even if it's pretty nerdy in a way.

Totally love this! I'm currently looking at the video. Very easy for me to geek-out, or go ultra-nerd on the English language. Very cool stuff!

I will never hear the Pink Panther theme the same now....lol....and now that I've had the review on:

schwa
Ə
I've worked hard in all my years living in the south, not to have a southern drawl sound. Now I realize I have to practice some diction again all because of that schwa Ə :ROFLMAO:
Every culture and their cultural regions always have their slight change in sounds, like in America, people living in the North East states, sound way different then the Southerners. Then you have mid-westerners region. All a bit different including their phrases.

North East for you guys would be you's guys (u's guys)

Southern for you all would be y'all/ya'll

My daughter and I came up with y'aint. Which stands in for you are not.
:ROFLMAO:
