Another thing about this song: it's so analog. From the classical instruments used to the vocals, to the recording equipment (no digital in 1974) it proves that traditional music can be just as good as the more modern stuff, including that epic trance that I so love. It all has its place.

Big fan of Lynyrd Skynyrd! It's the best time to get into the classic rock sound (as opposed to, say, a decade ago) though I'm enjoying digitalism as a alternative choice hahaha

My husband is a huge fan and loves this song, me too. We catch it when we're binging on YouTube sometimes and will listen to it. I can't believe it's 54 years ago, omg!! I loved the 70's and 80's.
