Heard this song again today and realised that I'd forgotten just how good it is. It was released all the way back in 1993 and I've actually got the CD single from the time, too. Both mixes here aren't the original mix, but the Reunited in a Day remix which sounds so much better. This was the version played on the radio and the first track on the CD. Sounds amazing in full CD quality on a good Hi-Fi system.
This is the instrumental mix and thanks to my friend for finding this today. It sounds exactly like the vocal version, but without them.
Note that even though I normally prefer instrumentals, for this track, they really add a lot of atmosphere to the sound, helping to really get across the sadness of this song which is all the better for it.
