It's time for an oldtimer bonanza! πŸŽ‰ A celebration and ode to 4 surprisingly everyday cars, yet all very iconic and full of character in their own rights, with groovy 80s beats to match. Enjoy! 🎢 🚘 πŸ‡³πŸ‡± 🚘 πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ 🚘 πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ 🚘 πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ

Very clever song and video and a great homage to these classic cars, plus nice touch with the native languages. The green antisocial boy racer one was my favourite. What a frigging hero knocking over those helpless cyclists, eh? ;) πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ And some boy racers really are like that.

Thank you, Retro. I like to try fun and different things, with the languages 'n all. πŸ™‚ Perhaps I will experiment some more with languages other than English in the future.

The green Manta stars in a series and two movies called New Kids, a Dutch cult classic that also resonates in Germany. Come to think of it, I've already introduced them in the Scooter thread! Scooter himself is driving that very same Manta in that clip that I've shared there!

Oh, and about that DAF 66.... that's definitely the most quirky car of the bunch. In the 70s and 80s reverse racing with these Variomatic geared cars was very popular in The Netherlands. If the drivers managed to not crash straight away, those babies could reach speeds in excess of 100kph/60mph. Imagine doing those speeds while driving backwards. Needless to say, more often than not this feature caused a lot of chaos.
