A lot of scaremongering goes on with the internet re potential security issues but this one may be genuine.

Not sure if it is an immediate issue or a future issue as technology, and in particular, mobile camera technology advances.

OMG!! Thank you, Geffers. I think I'll start practicing now to not show my fingers in photos. Funny, I don't do that anyway, but now I'll really be thinking about it.

Interesting and there's a potential risk there for sure, but the photo would have to be really high res and in focus for this attack to work. Still, worth being mindful of it and the risk can only increase as picture quality continues to improve.
