Pickles is one of those adorable super clingy cats. She literally wants to be held all of the time! See her story here:

My late wife and I had many cats in the past, at one point we had 7. All bar a couple named after Star Signs. Odd how the characters varied, we had a brother and sister cat, Aries and Taurus. The male was very affectionate but the female was very aloof.

Oh yes, they've all got their own little personalities that take up so much room in your heart!

It's true that female cats are generally more aloof than males. My friend's cat is a great example of this. He's had her for a decade now and she still hates me with a passion from the moment she first set eyes on me, bless. I'm talking about hissing and scratching me if I try to touch her. Feeding her made no difference. She's a complete no go area, lol.

She loves catnip, but when I offered her some, she attacked me!

lovely story, silly name 'pickles', but that is just how I feel, what really matters is that the cat is obviously happy and content.
Just a little note: although Pickles responds to her name and comes when called, I would not let her off the leash when outside. Not ever.

If you think about it, this cat has forgotten to be aloof and superior for being, well, a cat. 🤦‍♂️ I shall have to educate her.

Pickles defies all cat stereotype personalities to me. I've never seen a cat that actually is very dog-like in nature. Nice video and like Mars said that I agree with, I would never-ever leave Pickles unleashed...like never.
