This thread for the aviation enthusiasts on this forum is a homage to the Antonov An-225 Mriya that was destroyed by Russia in Ukraine in 2022 in their unprovoked attack.
Ukraine only ever made one of these, so all pictures and videos of it are of the same plane.
The three large jet engines per wing look incredible and I guess that an updated design could use just four engines what with all the technological improvements since the 1980s. Those anhedral wings on such a behemoth of a plane and that twin tail look really something, too. Shame I never saw it in real life as it did fly to the UK.
