The return of Wellipets Frog Wellingtons

Decades ago, I remember her saying how unfair it was that only children could have Frog Wellies, and I have been searching ever since to find her a pair in case there were adult sizes anywhere. Recently I found the company had a waiting list for adult sizes! This is the journey of some adult Wellipets frog wellies into my mothers hands.1980's wellies in 2024? You can't get much more retro than that..
So yeah.. It's been a while, but to quote John Wick 'I'm thinking I'm back'.

I tested them on a bus trip somewhere random on a rainy day, oh it's the best day to enjoy them. Very pleasant to walk in. I will never buy any other boot now I got them.

oh yeah, we had some proper wellies days here, rained buckets. Apart from the fact they are comfy to walk in, I guess you got some surprised looks from fellow passengers? also, must have caused a headache to mums, albeit un-intentional: the kiddies saw your froggies, now they pester mum to buy them a pair as well.
Also, some fashion conscious passers-by, who saw them at the fashion shows, probably were secretly envious of you. You might yet be approached by one, and asked where did you get them, as they are certainly not readily available.

No one has asked me yet. People who I talk to on socials love them and probably want a pair myself. I did wear them today to my local park in the rain, still holding up. I don't think passengers would've noticed as I was tucked away at the front. Did also use them yesterday as it was bucketing it down on my way to the local park.
