Why have supermarkets stopped opening 24 hours?

I do my best, but I do not count on contract extension. I'm literally a temp.

After this I'm going to have a talk with a certain Jobcenter guy that I know. He's one of the very, very few people I have encountered who actually seems to have at least a basic understanding of my needs. And what I need is quite simple: a job with zero or next to zero human interaction. If I can focus on just the work itself then my productivity is optimal. I hope that he can help me with this.

Update on this: I did those three weeks and then did something else in between. But I was called back to that company because they're in a busy period and my reasonably extensive warehouse experience has left a good impression on them.
The interesting part: even though this is not official yet, it has been said among the higher-ups that the company is looking for expansion in the shape of opening a secondary warehouse. Which means that they'll need people to run it. If those plans really take shape, that means that I'll be employed for quite a longer time.
