When 28 Years Later came to theaters last year, I didn't realize it would be a two part endeavor (possibly a three parter! potential spoilers in article, beware) but both movies have been such a fun experience.
Without going into full spoilers here, 28 Years Later takes place after.. well 28 Days later and 28 Weeks later. Both were great films when I first saw them back in the late 2000's / early 2010's and follow a "what if a zombie outbreak happened in the UK and maybe even the world" plot line. 28 Years Later continue that story line with new characters and an interesting view on this fictional world with children who never knew the world before the outbreak.
Myself and my wife really enjoyed both of the 28 Years Later movies and we're hopeful for the third installment to happen. It's a fun take on the zombie movie formula after all this time and it's fun to return to this universe and see how everyone has adapted to it. Both movies were a 8.5 or 9 out of 10 when we saw them.
Have any of you seen the movies and/or have any thoughts on them?
