@Geffers, talent shows are totally not my kind of TV, but as you have posted it I gave it a listen, and OMG...
I see it and hear it but still can't believe it; such a big voice, and the kid is only 12?
If I didn't know better, I'd dismiss the whole thing as a fake. But I know better. This Darcy girl is phenomenal.

I agree, the clip that Geffers has posted was from when Darcy was just a kid, and that is what I found so astounding: a kid of 12 belting out 'Summertime' like someone twice her age, and what a voice, it was hard to believe. Even the judges looked mystified. No wonder she got Gold, or whatever the prize was.
Now she is just a singer with a good voice, one of many.
