Amazon reimburse without requiring item return

Friend recently ordered an SSD from China, an 80GB in case with usb connection for around £14.

Brand name was a Fockety (suspicion raised already) and it took around 2 weeks to arrive.

On connection unable to mount, unable to format, seldom showed up as an inserted drive.

He contacted Amazon for return and was told item would not have to be returned but was given full refund.

Decent service by Amazon, seems customers are nowadays what used to be quality control at the factories.

I had this with a cheap shit laptop PSU. Worked for a few minutes, then died. At least it didn't take out the laptop.

Amazon gave me a full refund without wanting it back. I then bought a proper branded one which works to this day.
