Fake events

Seems like fake events are yet another way to scam people. There's this latest Bridgerton themed one which follows the disaster that was the Willie Wonka one a few months ago and others. Not sure how one can avoid falling prey to this one. Perhaps by Googling the organising company for past events and see how they went? If it's a big, yearly event, then this step isn't necessary and you can attend with confidence as that will be as advertised.

For an adult to go through an awful experience like this it will ruin their day, put them out of pocket too, then the headache of trying to get a refund and perhaps compensation (good luck), but for a child themed event, I reckon small children could even be traumatised by it. Doing that to little kids is despicable.
