Watch this Technology Connections video for how digital audio adapters were connected to video recorders to get enough bandwidth to record their wideband digital audio signals. It's especially cool watching the pulsating digital patterns on the monitor next to the presenter as he speaks. I absolutely love how this all works and the way perfect stereo CD quality digital audio could be recorded on a mid 1970s video recorder!
