I love the accuracy, precision and consistency of digital systems in any context, including audio processing. This video visually explains how digital audio sampling works and in particular, the benefit of dithering, which is substantial at lower bit depths.

Note that the video was produced in 2012 and is only 720p, but that doesn't detract from the excellent presentation, and of course, scientific principles don't go out of date. ;)

This is a video about the digital vs analog audio quality debate. It explains, with examples, why analog audio within the accepted limits of human hearing (20 Hz to 20 kHz) can be reproduced with perfect fidelity using a 44.1 kHz 16 Bit digital signal.
