Thanks (if you could say that) to my son, I've gotten back into watches after a 20 year hiatus from them. Sadly, it's also robbing me of my "fun money" that I have been spending in my main hobby (astrophotography).
Since I frequently set up sites for niches/topics that are of interest to me, I have done the same for watches/clocks and those that have an affinity for them.
Feel free to visit us at Chrono Collectors if you have an interest in watch or clock collecting or time keeping in general and feel free to join. If you have an issue signing up, please let me know.

I like modern radio controlled watches, but I don't think there are too many of those about.

My Seiko Astron Starry Night would argue the point. ;)

Finding that Seiko (and other vendors) are now offering analog watches (which I prefer) with either GPS or radio synchronization was a happy occurrence for me. I like the look of the above watch and had no problem paying in the 4 digit range for a 800 count limited edition. 🤤

In fact, the Seiko Astron line offers several versions. And I know that Casio and Citizen also offer solutions. I'm sure that there are many others... but my wallet isn't deep enough to buy all of them.

Currently I have several Chinese offerings inbound since AliExpress has their anniversary deals going on.

Just to add to the open invitation... I also run a few other sites that might be of some interest to people.
Of course, there is my Astrophotography/Astronomy site.
Then, if you are into discussions (sometimes heated) of ideological stances that people have, you can visit us at Ideology Central.

And my latest site I've brought up is those that are interested in the collection/use of edged tools (what some may consider weapons). This site could be carried over into firearms (by the steel part of the name), but that's not really an area I am currently interested in. I have enjoyed buying and using pocket and sheath knives for most of my life, since I am an avid outdoorsman and also use them in my daily routines.

I have another site that is website hosting based, but really do not expect it to get a lot of traffic. It has a site running on it in the event (to be brutally honest) that some possible parties may be interested in purchasing the domain. I figured since I have owned it since 2013, there may be a few sites that use RedNeck Hosting in their site names that might be interested. But in the meantime, I chose to set up a site to provide help. Currently I do use that domain for several of my server install configurations. So if they are interested.. it's going to have to be worth my time since I have had it already for 12 years.

Nice website and niche idea, @Astro What. I love watches too. I have a nice collection of watches given to me through the years by my dh. They are all exceptional and different from each other. I stopped wearing them because our phones seemed to have replaced the watches, however I do where my Galaxy watch 24/7.

My iPhone has long become my watch. Apologies ppl, terribly boring, I know. 😂 At least the clock is radio controlled and hence 100% accurate at all times. Heck, even when I first took it out of the box and powered it up for the first time, not connected to Wi-Fi or a mobile network it was accurate! Likely a few seconds out though, didn't check. I'm on my third and they all were, in fact. I had Androids before that, but I don't remember now, so many years ago.

A word to the wise... unless you like dorking around with software, if you are considering running a site then self-hosted Discourse may not be the best solution.
