New for 2025 and created a couple of days ago by our very own member, @Retrokomodo, is this bangin' electronic tune to go with his latest video about installing Windows 11 on an 11 year old, unsupported, PC who has also been kind enough to share it with us. Absolutely love it, currently wearing out the internet playing it over and over! There's a synth solo in it in a couple of places that really hits that spot for me, too.

Also, check out the lyrics he's created calling out the tons of avoidable worldwide e-waste generated by Windows 11's unncecessary hardware requirements and making fat profits for the hardware manufacturers.

I quite like that and it sounds like quite the parody as a country singer just wouldn't talk about this lol. It's like a subtle gag, I love it.
Yup, I do like some country music too, but don't have any in my music collection here or on CD.

I used to live in Texas, so what I am about to say would probably get me expelled from that state for all of eternity, but I'm not too big of a fan of country.

Thanks for that instrumental, love it. Sounds surprisingly different without the singing although the singing is the same. That dramatic pause is interesting as the AI must have had nothing to fill it with.

Correct! So i might not upload instrumentals.. or I may.. It might confuse my vast subscriber list if i suddenly bombard them each time with a video and two music videos when they only came for the tech video

I tell you what would work: simply link to the vocal and perhaps instrumental versions as you see fit, in the video description like you've done here. You can mention at the end of the video that you have the tunes linked and gives people something extra to look forward to when you release a video.

Perhaps you could create a new channel called Retrokomodo's Music or similar and turn them into videos, again linking to them in the video description?

Not an aficionado of country music, but this one is a WINNER!
The juxtaposition of country and techie stuff would otherwise not bode well for a happy marriage, but you succeeded perfectly, the vibes are country the lyrics spot on, can't fault it if I tried. I love it.

That's a shame, I'd be grateful if you'd be ok to reinstate it. I can then add it to my first post as an alternative way to play it.

I can tell you that I've played it over on the AI site you created it on, but also having it available on YouTube is better as it embeds better. Yeah, and that cybercat in your video was a great touch.

just listened to that e-waste song again.... so much truth in it. The prevailing mentality of our modern society is "out with the old, in with the new". Seems so wasteful, heartless. Pity really.
