Apparently Iran is blocking some citizens access to outside news by preventing connection to Signal server.
Useful article if you'd like to help keep the internet open and bypass censorship.
We all know some media sites are blocked from operating in different Countries but I had a message from a US DIY site once saying as based in EU site not available, not sure if that was EU or US blocking. Just connected to a VPN and got the site anyway
Anyway, I am rambling a bit so here is the article I referred to in para 2.
