Polio is one of the nastiest diseases out there and I've seen first hand just how crippling it is from a family friend who had it. Anything which reduces or eradicates it is to be welcomed with open arms. Plus, a vaccine that can be taken orally instead of a painful injection is fantastic.
This will be one for the anti-vaxxers out there to go rabid over: unfortunately, polio vaccines actually have the ability to mutate into the real thing and that's pretty scary. However, this new vaccine has been ensured not to do that, but this won't convince them.
