Freely available at any supermarket, this has many health benefits, as the article explains.

From warming winter teas to zesty stir-fries, ginger (Zingiber officinale) has long been a kitchen staple. But beyond its culinary charm, this spicy root has a rich history in traditional medicine – and modern science is catching up. Studies now show that ginger may offer a wide range of health benefits, from easing nausea and relieving colds to reducing inflammation and supporting heart health.

That reaper is nothing for strength compared to what could be. The active ingredient is capsaicin which is nowhere near 100% in this chilli. 100% strength would cause severe burns and likely kill. You have been warned kids, don't do it... Oh heck, someone must be dumb enough to make a YouTube video of this lol.

Apart from anything else, spices are easy to come by, adding flavour to food, and help to cut the amount of salt in our food. Celery is also a good substitute for salt, as it has a fair amount of sodium in it; so does beetroot, and beetroot is really good for the heart as well, because it contains nitrites, which are then converted into the beneficial nitric oxide which relaxes the blood vessels.

Believe it or not, I actually cook my pasta without salt and didn’t really notice!

I believe it, I don't add salt to the water either, and I get no complaints.
