The sun's superflare could cause an "internet apocalypse"

This gigantic flare could take down large parts of the internet, or even all of it. Now, this doesn't matter too much for the wider internet (I mean, who cares, right?) but the real issues start when we can't access this website.

The sun has been in a solar minimum stage for awhile; less energy, less sun spots and solar flares. It's amazing how much both the sun and moon affect the earths equilibrium status and weather. A solar super storm would be a disaster.

I just read yesterday that we were in a super solar minimum. Go figure???
