Unless XF have changed functionality, you shouldn't have got it.

The tagging system still works as you shared but I thanked both of you. I only got an email from your tag.

Yer welcome. I thought it was still like that. I think it's likely designed that way to stop someone being emailed multiple times when someone edits a post. Mind you, all they had to do was have XF check if the tag was there in the previous version of the post and not send out a second email, while emailing a first time tag in the edited post.

@Hitcore @Tiffany, I've now created this resource to help members avoid this trap in future. It's really something that should be improved, in my opinion. You'll see it in Featured Content and also Resources below it. Oh and you guys feature in it.

Thanks, @Retro , that is good to know.

When I first posted that image I didn't think much about it. It wasn't until a little bit after, when the phrase "Little Lion" was coined in the other thread, that I thought: "hey, @Tiffany would probably like this picture since she mentioned how much she liked that phrase, I'll go edit the post and tag her."

I will keep the resource in mind!
