The human what? Yup, virome, and you won't believe how big it is! It sits at around 40 trillion viruses and we have roughly the same number of cells in our body too, in case you ever wondered (I did).

We're absolutely riddled with different species of viruses and bacteria, most of which work symbiotically with our body to the point that we can't do without them. Check out this fascinating Kurzgesagt animated video for more about this.

I knew we were filled with bacteria good and bad and carried some viruses that can activate from time to time when under stress, like Epstein Barr, but I had no idea we had such a large bacteria and viral load. Wow!!
