Playing with figures is a great ploy to coerce the public opinion. When figures are low they use percentages as they can then use larger digits. Start with 5 and an increase of just one is 20%. That number will garner much more newsworthy comment than an increase of just one.

If you have any doubts that the ULEZ scheme is a scam, doubt no more. These two videos document that TFL lost a case brought by a motorist that the LEZ and ULEZ signs are illegal and hence owe thousands of motorists refunds, plus have to change the signs to be compliant, yet can carry on with impunity since it would "cost them too much" otherwise and be bad for air quality, allegedly. Yup, too corrupt to let a little thing like the law get in the way of their huge scam. The corruption really stinks and it'll make your blood boil. TFL is an arm of the government, so hardly surprising that this has happened.

Also, it's funny how this was only reported by right wing news organisation GB News, isn't it? Not even The Guardian reported it, who are normally pretty good at exposing corruption and of course, the BBC hasn't reported it.

Looks hopeful of nailing TFL once and for all for their scam:

It's good to see that Geoff, the host of this channel, recognizes that ULEZ is a scam.

In this article from only yesterday, unsurprisingly, TFL continue extorting illegal fines from innocent motorists and there's sod all we can do about it:

About £800million is owed to Transport for London by motorists who have refused to pay Sir Sadiq Khan’s Ulez ultra-low emission zone charge.

The mayor extended the £12.50-a-day levy across all 33 boroughs in Greater London in August 2023, despite opposition from many motorists and a number of Tory boroughs.
