There's so many ways for people to get ripped off and stolen from with car based scams that it's best to be aware of them to dodge those particular bullets. This video is USA based, but these crimes work equally well anywhere.

Omg, all scenarios are just terrifying. Too many scams happen at either a parking lot or gas station in this video. I've often thought it would be worth it to have an electric car so I wouldn't have to ever go back to a gas station again.

Nope, honestly a lot of those things are "overblown" and do not happen as regularly as they say, if at all for some of them (did not watch the video to see what ones they talked about).
The important thing has been and will be... the person being aware of their surroundings and having made a plan for various situations that can be used easily. Sadly.... way too many people walk around in life thinking unicorns and rainbows and freeze when their mind locks down when confronted with situations that they never thought about.
I'm not saying dwell on stuff, but simple plans can be modified quickly in your mind as long as you have a base to work from .... for most people. Some people will always simply freeze when confronted with "danger". Those are the ones the zombies will get first. :ROFLMAO:

@Retro good thing not all of those dirty tricks are happening here, not yet anyway.....
I can tell you @AW, I may believe in unicorns but I also believe that if something sounds or looks too good, it is probably fake; it triggers an automatic alert in my suspicious mind.
Still, I found the video quite interesting; I am glad that I have that habit of always looking around the car before I get in, whether I am the driver or passenger.
