It can be if you are selective on what you decided to get educated on. I know a few people who went to college and went after some bogus major and now they are working regular blue collar jobs because they couldn't find a job in their field.

The trades are very necessary and too many people are not navigating to the trades. The world needs trades people as their skills are so essential to what makes everything work in your life.
