Ah yeah and remember when, in that call to Trump, Putin offered to play peacemaker role in the Iran-Israel conflict? His hypocrisy makes me gag! That makes me gag.

Do you think that Trump was truly unhappy about the pause of the shipments to Ukraine and do you truly believe he was oblivious? Or is he trying to rewrite history as if it weren’t his decision and backpedal just to appeal to the world???There never was a bromance, Trump was Putin's bitch from the start and they both know it.
Hasn't Putin already done enough to warrant maximum sanctions and then some? Curious why Trump isn't applying them, isn't it?

Has the Trump-Putin bromance finally run its course?
US president appears to have run out of patience with his Russian counterpart – but how that transmits into practical support for Kyiv remains to be seenwww.theguardian.com
This would drive Russia further into the arms of China and you know very well that such a scenario is bad. That he hasn't increased sanctions against Russia is very telling, though. It would be a no-brainer to anyone else.
Oh and I just have to keep repeating myself: I love how when Trump initiated talks on the Russian invasion of Ukraine with Putin, he just diverted the subject to the Israel-Iran conflict, offering to be a peacemaker. Hypocrisy much? WTF? Putin’s tactics are very telling, I tell youMaybe, but it's not being reported as a reason for him not doing it. I still think those sanctions should be applied as otherwise the West is pretty toothless, isn't it?
And you know that Putin's most likely got something on him too as he's afraid to do anything against Putin and treats him with kid gloves. Heck, even pundits on mainstream TV and radio are saying this now. Just look at the difference with how he handled Iran. Big tough guy there wasn't he?
...and there'a a movie called Superman out in the cinema!!! Don't tell me that's about Trump :O
President Donald Trump on Friday issued a none-too-veiled threat of action against Russia after Moscow’s forces hit a Ukrainian maternity hospital, injuring nine people earlier in the day.
Speaking to reporters before departing the White House to view flood damage in Texas, where 121 have died and 170 are still missing, the president was asked about the drone attack against the civilian target.
He replied: “I know. You’ll be seeing things happen.”
The president’s cryptic remark came less than a day after he told NBC News that he’d be making a “major statement” on the status of the three-year-old Russia-Ukraine war this coming Monday.
According to the Telegraph, Mr Trump is expected not to visit Buckingham Palace or enjoy a ceremonial carriage ride down the Mall in London, which have often been prominent features of state visits from other world leaders.
The decision came amid concerns there could be objections from both the public and MPs following calls for Mr Trump to be blocked from addressing parliament earlier this year, with MPs and peers warning the US president “does not respect democracy”.
I was just about to post this, but you beat me to it!Oh I like this. Looks like Starmer isn't quite the sucker with Trump that it looks like he is.
Yeah, I'd object to it alright. I don't want him here at all, in fact.

Trump ‘denied chance to address parliament’ during UK state visit to meet King
Unlike Emmanuel Macron, the US president will reportedly not be given the opportunity to address parliamentuk.yahoo.com
Pretty sure different news sources pretty much copy-paste article content from each other - I may be wrong? I’ve also always wondered about copyright concerns in relation to this. Or maybe the editor works for all the news sources?Feel free to make your own comment about it though. Also, if you have a different link, then it just gives members another perspective on this.
Sorry for my lack of clarity Retro - just to clarify, I’m not worried about breaking rules here. I’m just genuinely curious about news sources violating copyright copying and pasting content off each other? They supposedly have a license to do so however, or use the same editor? They don't always copy paste. Just have a look at it and decide if you want to quote it, there's no hard and fast to this.
Don't worry about copyright, since there's no violation to linking to an article and / or quoting parts of it and then commenting on it. It's what forums are all about.

No, they don't need a license as long as they rewrite the source article in their own words and link to it. They could make a mishmash of two or more articles along with their analysis and / or opinion on the story.I’m just genuinely curious about news sources violating copyright copying and pasting content off each other?
