Oops, as for the ban, I thought I said somewhere else in that same post, please excuse my negligence 🤦‍♀️ I cited this because you teased me about breaking your server with lots of posts in a DM, and I hadn’t taken you seriously at the time. And you haven’t made any threats here either, just a polite request 🙂

And no, you didn’t say I can’t edit my post, but you said that if a moderator edits my post, it will just add another post due to XF tracking posting history. I assume the same applies when members edit their own posts? If I edit my post to remain compliant, it will increase rather than reduce storage space used. No point in editing posts to reduce server space used as edits will only increase server space used even if post length is reduced? :P

Please continue this in the resource thread. Just copy and paste the text into a post there and I'll reply later.

Well, would you look at that? Turns out that Putin has played Trump like a violin. Whoda thunk it?! 🤣

Vladimir Putin has “played Donald Trump like a violin” over Ukraine, according to a former British intelligence boss.

Sir Alex Younger, who was the head of MI6 between 2014 and 2020, said the Russian president is going to make his US counterpart “look like a Muppet” by continuing to bomb its neighbour.

Is there a better example of the Streisand Effect than this Epstein case? It may very well be the biggest coverup of the decade.

His behavior around this is just bizarre. It basically went from:
>We will publish the Epstein files
to
>We need some time to redact the files to protect the innocent
to
>We will not publicize the files
to
>There are no Epstein files, stop asking about it!!

Say what you want about Elon Musk, that dude also has his own issues, but Musk did well publicly calling out Trump for being on the list, a bold move. Ever since Trump is just losing it. From reasonably poker faced to quite panicky in a matter of weeks. That tweet in my previous post, though absurd, is real. It's just four words. But those four words, in all-caps, say everything.

I hope it bites him in the ass. Would be great if it was his downfall. That man is so seriously corrupt.

I think it is becoming inevitable. But it won't just bite him in the ass, lots of other big names as well. I talked about it before, but once those files drop, it is going to be, as @live627 is pointing out, the uncovering of the biggest coverup of the decade, possibly the century. Republicans, Democrats, the entire American political system, nuked, just like that. Actors, singers, all of Hollywood, nuked, just like that. CEOs, Fortune 500, the fucking economy, nuked, just like that.
Lots of people involved are shitting their pants right now. With Trump, as of this moment, being seen as the face of it all.

The first time I heard of this case a few years ago, it seemed like a huge deal that would never be fully resolved. I was always of the opinion that the files would never ever be released. Now, never is multiplied.

Trump issues toothless threat to Russia that's sure to make his Putin master quake in his boots. Here's two stories on this, for slightly different perspectives on this issue.

I don’t think Trump was fooled by Putin! I think he’s shifting the narrative to suit himself, making him appear as if he’s oh, so innocent!

I’m skeptical of his true intentions for the following reasons:
  • He initially blamed Zelensky and Biden for the war, only recently having shifted blame over to Putin.
  • He placed conditions on Zelensky he’s only give aid if Zelensky investigates Biden. Selfish much, to say the least???
  • He isn’t voluntarily offering missiles to Ukraine, but rather via a sale to NATO. While this isn’t a red flag in and of itself, the cumulative impact of his inconsistent behaviours are a major red flag.
  • Just days ago, he refused arm provisions to Ukraine on the (apparent) basis that the US were low on stockpiles. Again, see the inconsistency?
I feel like Trump is now only seemingly supporting Ukraine to make monies, just as his agenda for “cutting waste”! Having said that, I applaud Trump for considering secondary tariffs - tariffs on those countries purchasing oil and gas from Russia. This is a big one given that China is a massive economy as is the developing India; of course Russia’s partners have been an economical saviour to them, and no more means no more, let’s hope Trump doesn’t backpedal on this!

Indeed not, the problem is that Putin has most likely* got some compromising dirt on Trump which is why we see Trump be so ineffective against him as he's Putin's puppet, as I've said earlier in this thread. Even pundits on major radio and TV stations are saying this openly, so there must be truth to it. The latest threat of useless sanctions against Putin is more good evidence of this.

Good bullet points there and he's indeed looking to make money by selling arms by taking advantage of Ukraine's plight instead of just giving them freely, like Biden did. Sickening and it's the kind of exploitation that a criminal would do, which we all know him to be.

*I say most likely as there's unfortnately no smoking gun, but it's obvious from everything that we see that there must be.
